Job Description

In this role, you will perform complex analyses and research and develop solutions based on thorough and comprehensive research & technical expertise. You will conduct complex financial analysis, including pricing, rebates, administrative fees, and distribution to identify untapped savings opportunities and competitive strengths.

Responsibilities

• Respond to recruitment and retention competitive threats.
• Interpret statistical analysis based on market and product knowledge.
• Present member specific executive summary of financial value and pricing to position versus competitive offering.
• Interact directly with client executives, regional offices, consultants, and potential members.
• Monitor market dynamics (supplier relationships, contracting strategy, pricing) versus specific competitors.
• Maintain current contract knowledge to provide meaningful and accurate financial assessment.
• Interact with sales/recruitment team as well as Vizient sourcing team
• Use acquired knowledge and/or GPO experience to analyze the non-pharmacy portfolios including packaging and pricing validation.
• Provide training for new analysts.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree preferred.
• 5 or more years of relevant experience required.
• Broad diversified knowledge of healthcare products and services.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Action oriented, high initiative, good problem-solving skills, and independent thinking.
• Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration with customer service orientation.
• Must be proficient in Excel, Access, SQL query writing. VBA desired.

Estimated Hiring Range

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $68,500.00 to $116,300.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
