Details of position:Accountant roleReports into the Corporate Accounting Manager, while working closely with Senior AccountantNo travel requiredGreat work/life balanceHybrid in office policy (once company goes to normal work schedule)Responsibilities:Assist in the month end, quarter end and the year-end close processPrepare, code and record journal entries in GLProcess allocations and reclassification entriesWork closely with A/R, A/P, Payroll, Master Data, Fixed Assets, and Lease Accountant as requiredPreparation of Account Reconciliation activitiesReview trial balance and reconcile / analyze all general ledger accountsProvide audit support specific to general accountingMonitor and execute internal control procedures to ensure that company assets are adequately protectedAssist in the review of department expenses by working closely with department heads, enhancing process standardizationParticipate in and support various process improvement initiativesRequirements of Candidate:1-3 years experience with accounting backgroundCPA / advanced degree desired, Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Accounting or FinanceExperience in accounting and financial systems (company uses Syteline ERP and HFM/OneStream Consolidation)Thorough knowledge of basic accounting principles and internal controlsProficient with Microsoft Office suiteStrong communication skillsMust be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask, while maintaining attention to detailProactive self-starter who seeks new challenges and continuous improvement opportunitiesAbility to learn quickly and willingness to dive into new areas #J-18808-Ljbffr
