Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. The Surgical Technologist will prepare the operating room, sterilize and set up equipment, anticipate instrument needs during procedures, and support the surgical team to promote patient safety and efficient case flow.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or equivalent. (Client prefers certification; listed as preferred in order notes.)
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a certified OR/Surgical Technologist in a surgical environment.
• Experience with robotics, spine, total joints, and general surgery required.
• Experience with call responsibilities including weekday, weekend, and holiday call (approximately 1–2 calls).
• Travel experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification preferred if not already held.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts.
• Shift Pattern: 3x12.
• Call required: weekday, weekend and holiday call (approx. 1–2 calls).
