Forklift Operator

Our client is looking for a qualified Forklift Operator. This is a Temporary-To-Hire position and located in Ames, Iowa.

Applicants must live within 20 minutes of Ames, IA. Applicants who do not meet this requirement will not be considered.

Starting Pay: $22.00 / Hour

Hours: 3:00pm - 11:00/11:30pm (Monday-Friday)

Duties:

Operating Stand up, battery powered Forklift or a sit-down propane forklift (80% of work shift).
Utilizing a had held scanner to locate products.
Unloading semi-trailer with finished products to the warehouse and putting on racking system.
Taking products form the warehouse and loading them into a semi-trailer.Bring supplies to the packaging line.
Building pallets.

Requirements:

Minimum 6monhts stand up (electric) or sit-down (propane) forklift.
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment, safely.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds through out the shift.
