QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate preferred) Massachusetts Physical Therapist Licensure (required) Experienced and new graduates welcome to apply American Heart Association BLS CPR (required) JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Evaluate all assigned patients, develop treatment plans, provide assessment and assist in discharge planning as appropriate for each discipline. Apply treatment plans within established procedures and time frames, modify plans as necessary, and train patients and families on home exercises and equipment use. Complete documentation to comply with professional standards, including initial consults, progress notes, clinical conference notes, and dictated reports within 24 hours of patient encounter. Provide information and consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and other health‑care personnel, including counseling and communication of diagnoses and goals. Complete department operational procedures such as scheduling, billing, equipment usage, time‑off requests and caseload coverage, and submit patient charges or credits promptly. Assist with orientation and training of student interns, reviewing and co‑signing intern documentation, and contributing to intern rating formats. Demonstrate relevant clinical knowledge and skills in evaluation, treatment and counseling; establish and review professional development objectives annually. Meet productivity expectations set by the supervisor. Attend in‑service training, external seminars and other meetings; present in‑service training as directed. EDUCATION: Doctor of Physical Therapy: Physical Therapy (required) CERTIFICATIONS: Basic Life Support – American Heart Association COMPENSATION: The base pay range reflects total compensation and does not include incentive payments.
