RATE OF PAY/SALARY: $300,000 annually

WORK LOCATION(S): Binghamton, NY

STATUS: Full-time

GENERAL PURPOSE: The Psychiatrist is expected to work closely with other members of the Health Care Team to provide quality, evidence-based psychiatric care to patients across the lifespan in an outpatient setting. The position emphasizes collaborative, integrated care within the Behavioral Health department and with primary care and medical staff throughout the organization.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Clinical Evaluation and Treatment, Risk Assessment and Safety, Interdisciplinary and Collaborative Care, Care Coordination and Continuity, Telehealth Services, Quality Assurance, Documentation, and Compliance, Professional Development and Leadership

REQUIREMENTS: Graduation from an accredited medical school with a New York State license to practice medicine, Must be Board eligible with the expectation that will become Board Certified in given specialty within five (5) years of hire

LICENSES REQUIRED: New York State License to practice medicine, Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certificate

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Group practice experience a plus, Experience in collaborative or integrated care settings a plus
