Summary The Operations Supervisor oversees day‑to‑day operational activities of the campground, ensuring a smooth, efficient and enjoyable experience for all guests. Responsibilities include managing staffing, inventory, maintenance, safety, housekeeping, guest services and recreational activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversee daily operations across all departments, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Communicate and correct deficiencies in collaboration with departmental supervisors and the General Manager. Provide excellent customer service, improving guest satisfaction and net promoter score. Support and manage campground staff, assisting in hiring, scheduling and training. Assist the General Manager in achieving monthly and annual budget requirements. Ensure accounting functions follow OAK procedures and accurate cash handling. Prepare required reports on procedures, efficiency, scheduling, attendance, etc. Apply effective conflict resolution and critical thinking skills. Monitor and manage inventory levels. Maintain composure in high‑pressure, fast‑paced situations. Maintain property following the quality assurance manual. Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the GM. Implement and enforce safety protocols to comply with local, state and federal requirements. Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in a customer‑service supervisory role. Fluency in spoken and written English. Decision‑making ability. Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays. Ability to motivate, lead and develop employees. Strong working knowledge of operational procedures. Valid driver’s license. Physical Demands and Working Conditions Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold. Ability to operate standard office equipment. Lift 10 pounds regularly, lift and carry 25 pounds or more occasionally with assistance. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, push, pull, reach overhead and move safely over uneven terrain. Use of repetitive motion, standing, bending, sitting, lifting and walking. Moderate to loud noise levels. Exposure to dust, pollen, grasses, landscaping, chemicals and moving mechanical equipment. Use of personal protective equipment where necessary. Occasional interruptions and shifting priorities. Valid driver’s license required; may be expected to drive a motorized vehicle, requiring visual acuity and reading signs, traffic signals, etc. or travel by air.
