Project Engineer - Mission Critical page is loaded## Project Engineer - Mission Criticallocations: Dallas: Lubbock, TX: Austintime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R-101379**Job Description:**Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an exciting career opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our National Mission Critical team!This individual will assist the project team in the completion of designated projects with a focus on learning Ryan processes, procedures and business policies.**Some things you can expect to do:*** Help generate Requests For Information (RFIs) and track approvals.* Monitor and maintain shop drawing log and shop drawing coordination.* Learn project dimensional control requirements while field verifying dimensions to back check the shop drawing approval process.* Assist in the coordination and tracking of Vendor and Subcontractor deliveries.* Learn Ryan Safety Policies and Procedures.* Gain an understanding for overall site logistics.* Participate in and gain an understanding of the city and jurisdictional permit inspection process.* Keep office and jobsite plans updated with RFIs and ASIs.* Accompany Ryan personnel (and Owner) on Punchlist inspections, record Punchlist items and monitor completion of Punchlist work.* Participate in preparing and updating the project schedule**Job Requirements:*** Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering/Management or related field.* 1+ year of experience in commercial construction.* Willingness to travel as needed to execute projects.**You will really stand out if you:*** Have general knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control and material pricing.* Read and understand engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost coding systems.* Experience in Construction Management Software (i.e. Procore).* Design-build commercial construction experience.**Eligibility:**Position requires verification of employment to work in the U.S.**Benefits:*** Competitive Salary* Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits* Retirement and Savings Benefits* Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts* Life Insurance* Short-Term and Long-Term Disability* Educational Assistance* Paid Time Off (PTO)* Employee Assistance and Wellness Programs* Parenting Benefits* Employee Discount Programs* Pet insurance* Ryan Foundation – charitable matching funds* Paid Time for Volunteer Events*Disclaimer: Eligibility may vary based on factors such as role, hours worked, employment status, length of service, location, and other considerations.
