Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior MedMal Claims Specialist in New York, NY. This role requires a Juris Doctorate (JD). The schedule is hybrid, 2 days a week in office. Summary: The client is looking for a MedMal Claims Specialist with experience handling medical-related and professional liability claims. This role requires a candidate with a background in General Liability with medical litigation, MedMal, Labor Law with medical litigation and an understanding of causation, medical record review.
- Experience handling medical malpractice and/or general liability with medical litigation experience
- Background as an Attorney is required
- Exposure to medical-related claims and complex liability matters
- Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage claims from intake through resolution, including investigation, evaluation, and collaboration with counsel
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment
