About the Position

License: Active nursing license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS required. Must-Have: EPIC charting system experience required. STEMI and Stroke facility experience required. Description: The emergency room is seeking registered nurses to provide high-quality care for patients of all ages. The department handles a wide range of medical emergencies, including trauma, cardiac events, and behavioral health crises. Nurses will be expected to manage various patient care situations, such as ventilated patients, central line care, and the administration of blood products. A strong understanding of dysrhythmias and EKG interpretation is essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be prepared to work flexible schedules, including potential weekend and holiday coverage. The ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and provide patient-centered care is crucial in this role. Candidates will be required to pass a compliance EKG exam. A commitment to professional development and continuous learning is expected. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to provide care for special populations, including those with cancer and sepsis. Experience in trauma levels I and II is preferred. Travelers may be asked to float to different departments as needed.
