About the Position

Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: MRI Technologist Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: AART Certifications: MR Must-Have: Candidates must have Cerner experience. Cardiac imaging competence is preferred. Description: Travelers must start on designated dates. The facility has 355 beds and offers various specialized centers including brain, cancer, heart, lung, orthopedics, general, and vascular surgery. It also provides surgical weight loss services, a women's center, and a Level 3 NICU. The emergency department has 32 beds. There is a 29-bed inpatient rehab and a 15-bed surgical suite along with imaging services. The adult behavioral health hospital has 81 beds. The MRI department consists of 1 MRI unit, with mobile and open MRI options available at the imaging center. There is a potential to float to the outpatient imaging center which is a 5-minute drive from the main campus. Weekend call coverage is required for STAT imaging requests. Common diagnosis includes stroke. The facility handles MRI with anesthesia. Candidates should be flexible and adapt to a team environment.
