Job Summary
Entry-level manufacturing position responsible for electronic and mechanical assembly of components and subassemblies. The role involves following standard procedures, using hand and power tools, performing quality checks, and supporting manufacturing and distribution operations. Key Responsibilities
- Perform repetitive and non-repetitive assembly of electronic and mechanical components .
- Assemble modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, cables, and subassemblies.
- Follow diagrams, schematics, visual aids, process flows, and written/verbal instructions .
- Use hand tools, power tools, jigs, and saws.
- Perform continuity checks on work-in-process and completed assemblies.
- Conduct quality inspections according to specifications.
- Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test prototype/experimental assemblies .
- Set up and operate automatic or semi-automatic machinery when required.
- Monitor equipment and report malfunctions or abnormalities .
- Support packaging, processing, shipping, receiving, inventory, and storage activities.
- Record production and operational data according to established procedures.
- Perform basic clerical and production-related tasks.
- Follow SOPs, manufacturing procedures, and safety/quality requirements .
- Learn equipment, production systems, and established operating procedures.
- Handle routine production issues using prescribed solutions.
- Communicate basic information with team members and contacts within the immediate work area.
- Entry-level: Little to no prior experience required.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English .
- Ability to follow written procedures, instructions, SOPs, and manufacturing documentation.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing procedures and production processes .
- Good communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Demonstrates ethical behavior and professionalism.
- Ability to work under close supervision and follow clearly defined procedures.
- Willingness to develop knowledge of production-related systems and processes.
- Manufacturing and/or distribution environment.
- Routine and moderately repetitive production activities.
- Work performed using established procedures and standard operating processes.
- Requires learning and operating manufacturing equipment and systems.
