Summary: The Athletic Trainer will be responsible for providing evaluations, ergonomic risk assessments and solution development, program management, and wellness services.

Qualifications:

• Must be licensed in the State of Ohio.
• Must be CPR and First Aid certified and maintain certification at own cost.
• Must be comfortable with and self-motivated enough to work independently.
• Must be highly organized, detail orientated, and able to multi-task easily.
• Experience working within an industrial environment is highly preferred.
• Experience with musculoskeletal injury triage/early intervention is highly preferred.
• Experience in Ergonomics is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Providing program management and client support as required
• Conducting assessments of employee musculoskeletal concerns. If appropriate, developing an action plan, addressing symptoms under OHSA allowable first aid, and provide worksite coaching.
• Conducting industrial audits and pre-shift stretching programs.
• Collaborate with coaches, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate athletes on proper techniques and injury management.
