Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) located in Philadelphia, PA. This position involves providing care for ICU boarders in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at a healthcare facility. The RN will assess, implement, and evaluate patient care needs under the supervision of a licensed physician, collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver individualized nursing care. The role offers an opportunity to work with trauma overflow patients, with some potential to float to emergency department or other ICU/Stepdown units based on census and operational needs.

Job Details:

• Location: Philadelphia, PA
• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 07/27/2026
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school of nursing, 3 years of experience in ICU or related clinical specialty, PA Registered Nurse License, Basic Life Support certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of experience in the clinical specialty.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Assesses, implements, and evaluates care needed by patients with a focus on trauma overflow, in the PACU unit. The RN may float to emergency department for ICU holds or to other ICU/Stepdown units based on census and operational needs. The role involves direct patient care and supervision of nursing support staff, adhering to nursing practice standards and departmental policies.
