Office Coordinator The Office Coordinator is responsible for a wide range of school office administrative tasks. Under the guidance of school leadership, the Office Coordinator carries out the following duties: Fosters and establishes a warm and hospitable environment for guests and school personnel Offers front office support as needed for the receptionist and attendance coordinator Coordinates purchasing activities for the school Provides support for the registrar via phone calls and emails during student enrollment season Organizes office space and common spaces, in regard to supplies, ensuring coffee is made, and other hospitality needs Serves the Headmaster and assists Valor school leadership Resources teachers with books and classroom supplies Reconciles monthly purchases for the accounting team Inventories and distributes book bundles, school supplies, and textbooks Purchases meals for the food program and tracks meal participation Oversees the distribution of supplies and resources for the Free and Reduced Meals Program Communicates with families regarding outstanding balances for textbooks and meal accounts Other duties as assigned Key skills and attributes for the Office Coordinator include: Heart for service and the fine detail that creates a warm and welcoming environment Openness to doing the ‘little things’ with care for the benefit of school leadership and the visitors of the school Positive, professional written and spoken communication skills Strong time management and personal organization skills Attention to detail Proficiencyin MS Word and Excel Ability to learnnew software systems (e.g. enrollment system, student information system, etc.) Ability to carry out tasks with accuracy, efficiency, and reliability Proficiency in Spanish (speaking and writing) is preferredbut not required for consideration Immediate Opening #J-18808-Ljbffr Valor-Public-Schools
