IT Support Specialist Location: Tell City, Indiana Compensation: $66,300/yr Hours: Full-time Employment Type: On-site Company Overview A manufacturing company serving the automotive industry is seeking an IT Support Specialist to support technology operations across its organization. The company emphasizes continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and quality-focused manufacturing processes. Position Summary The IT Support Specialist will provide technical support to employees, maintain computer systems and related equipment, troubleshoot software, hardware, email, and network issues, and assist with IT projects. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, end-user support, and working in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices Set up workstations, monitors, printers, scanners, and related equipment Provide technical support in person, by phone, and through remote tools Troubleshoot hardware, software, email, and network connectivity issues Assist users with Microsoft Office and other business applications Create and maintain user accounts, passwords, and access permissionsSupport antivirus, endpoint protection, and software updates Connect users to network resources and provide basic systems training Document support requests, resolutions, and work instructions Coordinate with the IT Manager and external vendors on technology projects Assist with IT purchasing and inventory management Escalate complex technical issues as needed Support technology initiatives across multiple company locations Qualifications Required: Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience Experience with Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, Windows Server environments, basic networking concepts, printers/peripherals, antivirus/endpoint protection software, and mobile device support Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and commitment to quality support Ability to work at a computer for extended periods Ability to walk and work throughout a manufacturing facility Comfortable spending time on the production floor interacting with employees Ability to periodically travel to other company locations Other Details Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, HSA options, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, holidays, tuition reimbursement, FSA, company-paid short- and long-term disability, employee referral and recognition programs, wellness/appreciation events, and career growth opportunities. #J-18808-Ljbffr Pasona N A, Inc.
