Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse position in San Jose, California. This role involves providing specialized postoperative care to patients recovering from anesthesia. The provider will be responsible for monitoring patient vitals, managing pain, and ensuring safe recovery in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience, graduation from an accredited nursing program, valid Registered Nurse license in the state of California, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Pediatric ACLS)
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing or related field, Procedural Sedation Competency, minimum two (2) years of critical care experience with adult patients in Post Anesthesia Care Unit or equivalent environment, minimum two (2) years of clinical care experience with Pediatrics in Emergency Room, Intensive Care Unit, or Post Anesthesia Care Unit, minimum two (2) years of experience providing Procedural Sedation in outpatient settings, experience in Pain Management injection procedures
• Additional Information: The facility requires adherence to SOPs and clinical protocols to ensure patient safety and quality care during postoperative recovery
