Job Title: General Production Worker (1st Shift) Job Description

This role supports the end-to-end production of pizzas on a first-shift schedule, working four 10-hour days from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. You will rotate through multiple positions on the production line, from preparing ingredients to assembling and packaging finished products, while maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, and efficiency.

• Perform a variety of tasks on the pizza production line, including patting down pepperoni, grating cheese, and preparing other ingredients.
• Assemble pizzas by adding the correct ingredients in the proper order and quantities according to production specifications.
• Rotate through all production positions to learn and support each stage of the pizza manufacturing process.
• Inspect products at each stage of production to verify quality, consistency, and adherence to food safety standards.
• Operate basic production and packaging equipment and use hand tools safely and correctly as needed.
• Follow established food handling, food safety, and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Package finished products accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper labeling and presentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-structured work area throughout the shift.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and maintain smooth workflow.
• Follow all company policies, including safety rules and guidelines related to working in a food manufacturing environment.

• Experience in food production, food manufacturing, or food industry environments.
• Background in general production work, general labor, or similar hands-on roles.
• Ability to assemble pizzas, add ingredients accurately, and follow production instructions.
• Experience with quality checking or inspection in a production or food handling setting.
• Familiarity with food safety and food handling practices.
• Comfort using basic hand tools and operating production or packaging machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent product quality.
• Ability to work a 1st shift schedule of four 10-hour days (7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday).
• Capability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Prior experience in food manufacturing or food industry production lines.
• Previous work in packaging or general production settings.
• Ability to learn multiple roles and adapt quickly to different tasks on the production line.
• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to support coworkers across various stations.
• Reliability in attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts.

This position is based in a well-lit, organized food manufacturing facility focused on pizza production. You will work a first-shift schedule of four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The environment follows strict food safety and handling standards, and employees wear appropriate protective attire, including a hair net, gown, gloves, and other required items. The production area uses standard food production equipment, packaging machinery, and hand tools, and involves standing for most of the shift, working at a steady pace, and collaborating closely with a production team in a clean, structured setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milaca, MN.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
