Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) Sector is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Specialist to support the Common Products Delivery Management organization. This position is located at our Sierra Vista, AZ campus but can be filled remotely for the right candidate. This position will be performing work during the Eastern Standard Time hours regardless of candidates location.The Supply Chain Planning Specialist acts as the focal point between Global Supply Chain’s Procurement and Program, ensuring supplier On-Time-Delivery (OTD). A successful candidate will effectively manage competing priorities, build strong internal and external relationships, and present timely, accurate information when required. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:This position may be filled as a Level 2 or Level 3 based on the qualifications outlined below.CoordinatingPossess high levels of organization and self-motivation with the ability to accomplish challenging tasks in a high-pressure and short-turnaround environment, with minimal supervisionAbility to prioritize competing tasks and close the loop on lagging sub-tasksUse trends and historical metrics to foresee risks in procurement activitiesOwnership of scope with the ability to see what’s necessary for repeatable successTravel to regional supplier locations as needed by the company or programsDelivery ManagementPartner with procurement team to manager purchase orders on-time deliveryWork closely with suppliers to identify non-supporting deliveries and their impact to scheduleFacilitate development of milestone plans and return-to-green plansWork through complex issues with cross-functional teams until closureUtilize SDMS tool and S4/HANA to efficiently communicate with suppliers and programs on purchase order statusExcellent communication skills and presenting data to a larger teamBasic Qualifications Level 2:Bachelor’s degree and 2 year’s experience Logistics, Global Supply Chain, Project Management, Product Support, Training, or Cross-departmental coordination, or a Master's Degree.A High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of degree SAP (or any ordering platform) experience in procurement or inventory managementAbility to obtain a U.S Government Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Program Special Access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet business needs (after starting)Must be proficient in MS Office Excel, Word, and PowerPointBasic Qualifications Level 3:Bachelor’s degree and 5 year’s experience, a Master's Degree with 3 years experience, or a PhD with 1 year experience in Logistics, Global Supply Chain, Project Management, Product Support, Training, or Cross-departmental coordinationA High School Diploma/GED with 9 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of degree SAP (or any ordering platform) experience in procurement or inventory managementAbility to obtain a U.S Government Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Program Special Access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet business needs (after starting)Must be proficient in MS Office Excel, Word, and PowerPointPreferred QualificationsData skills: vLookup, xLookup, PivotTables, Boolean, methods of aggregating large data setsOffice 365 tools: Power Automate, Lists, Power AppsUnderstanding of Federal Logistics Info System (FLIS), Mil-Specs, Standards, DrawingsExperience with flight worthy parts and acceptabilityEffective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oralPrimary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
