You are sales-driven, technology-forward, and take pride in owning the entire patient experience—from the pre-test to the final frame adjustment.

About the Position We are seeking a team member to join our tight-knit practice in Elgin. You will be cross-trained to handle both our clinical diagnostic workflows and our optical boutique operations. This is a role for someone who thrives on variety: you might start the day assisting with advanced dry eye therapy, perform contact lens training, and move seamlessly into high-end optical sales ($200–$2,000 range). We use modern technology, including diagnostics testing and specialized myopia management and dry eye programs, and we will provide full training to get you up to speed.

About the Practice Radiant Eye Care is a modern, private practice committed to high-level clinical care and a world-class patient experience. We treat patients from pediatrics to geriatrics, offering specialized services like OptiLight/OptiLift for dry eye and Stellest lens technology for myopia management. You will work alongside optometrist and a dedicated team, utilizing systems like RevolutionEHR to manage our operations efficiently.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Clinical Diagnostics & Tech: Perform accurate pre-testing, including autorefraction, tonometry, digital imaging, OCT imaging and visual field testing
• Specialty Care Support: Assist in dry eye treatment protocols (OptiLight/OptiLift) and gather metrics for myopia management consultations.
• Optical Sales & Styling: Engage patients with passion and expertise to assist in frame and premium lens selection. You’ll be responsible for meeting sales targets and creating "wow" moments for every customer.
• Inventory & Board Management: Keep our frame boards fresh and organized using our Frame Dream program. Manage inventory, ordering, and lab communications
• Administration & Billing: Manage the full revenue cycle, including checking in/out patients, verifying insurance benefits, and submitting claims
• Patient Education: Educate patients on contact lens insertion and removal, lens care, and the benefits of our advanced treatment options.
