Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Seed Product Development platform team. The ideal candidate will be a local/onsite professional who can work closely with our team to develop high-level code for research areas.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work as a full-stack developer on an agile team to develop, maintain, and support multi-tier high-performance web-based and .NET desktop applications.
• Follow and promote software engineering's coding practices and standards.
• Work closely with the Business Analyst and the Solutions Architect to understand business requirements and workflows.
• Use problem-solving skills along with focused attention to detail to efficiently develop high-quality applications.
• Ensure that projects are developed in accordance with FS&D's Software Engineering architectural, UI/UX, and development standards.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience as a full-stack developer.

Competencies:

• Experience using established engineering methodologies through all stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of common coding languages and frameworks, particularly C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, .Net, Angular 8+, and SQL.
• Preferred: Experience with Azure DevOps, OData, .NET reflection, MS SQL, Advanced SQL, reading/understanding SQL stored procedures, Azure Cloud, and Event Management (Service Bus or Event Hub).

Required Skills : This person needs to be able to work hybrid onsite in Des Moines, IA. Please only send candidates who are willing to relocate or be in Des Moines through the duration of the project. Working on data migration from Prism to Postgresql. Needs to be strong in .net, C#, SQL. This resource will be working on the data migration and writing scripts, working out of Sybase (SAP system)
