Assists with treatments and procedures and carries out selected duties within the framework of the established nursing plan of care. Complies with established nursing policies, procedures and standards to provide safe, quality care to patients./ph3Responsibilities:/h3ulliConsistently takes accurate vital signs./liliAccurately collects routine patient data per protocols and/or as directed by the clinical supervisor./liliConsistently recognizes high-risk situations and reports them appropriately./liliConfers with the clinical supervisor routinely concerning the plan of care./liliMakes suggestions as to referrals to other disciplines./liliFulfills protocols or clinical guidelines in establishing workflow priorities./liliConsistently demonstrates acceptable technical skills in providing care./liliConsistently follows standards of care, established protocols, or clinical guidelines in providing patient care./liliConsistently follows infection control policies in administering care./liliConsistently provides patient care in consideration of age related requirements./liliConsistently reinforces patient and family teaching./liliAdministers medications safely in accordance with relevant unit policies and procedures./liliDemonstrates ability to accurately transcribe physician orders./liliDemonstrates a working knowledge of computer skills relevant to the care area./liliDemonstrates initiative and flexibility with assignments./liliFunctions as a team member in carrying out assignments./li/ulh3What you will need:/h3ulliA current license to practice as a Practical Nurse in the State of New York/liliGraduate of accredited school of Practical Nursing./liliHigh School diploma / GED required/liliMust be able to lift 20 lbs./li/ulpPay Range: $23.85-$29.95 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
