What You'll Do

• Provide expert critical care nursing to ICU patients across multiple units including MICU, TICU, Neuro ICU, and Burn ICU
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Monitor patient vital signs and responses to treatments, adjusting as needed
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Document patient progress accurately in Epic EMR system
• Respond swiftly to acute patient changes and emergencies
• Educate patients and families on condition and care plans

What You Need
Required:

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or eligible for licensure
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience
• Epic EMR experience
• BLS & ACLS certifications

Preferred:

• CPI & CCRN certifications
• Experience working in float pool and ICU environments

About the Assignment
This position is with a leading facility in New Orleans, LA, providing critical care services across various ICU units. The float pool RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, covering MICU, TICU, Neuro ICU, and Burn ICU as needed. This assignment offers daily 12-hour shifts with a focus on critical care excellence.
