Compounding TechnicianThe Compounding Technician is responsible for processing raw materials through blending, mixing, and milling operations to produce finished compounds that meet quality and production standards. This role follows established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) to ensure consistent product quality, safety, and efficiency.The Compounding Technician will work in two facilities: in Sherman and Van Alstyne, TX. Key responsibilities include accurately weighing, measuring, and preparing raw materials for compounding; operating blending, mixing, and milling equipment according to SOPs; monitoring production processes to ensure product quality and consistency; following all SOPs, cGMPs, and safety requirements at all times; maintaining accurate batch records, logs, and production documentation; performing basic equipment inspections and reporting maintenance or safety issues; maintaining a clean and organized work area in compliance with manufacturing standards; meeting production schedules and quantity requirements; and supporting continuous improvement and quality initiatives as assigned.Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED preferred, compounding experience in manufacturing (production) in the food/beverage industry is a MUST, ability to follow written instructions and procedures precisely, basic math skills for weighing and measuring materials, strong attention to detail and quality, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.Physical requirements include the ability to stand for extended periods, ability to lift and move materials (up to specified weight limits), heavy lifting is a MUST, up to 75lbs or more, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.Work schedule is Monday to Friday, some Saturdays, 6 am to 6 pm. Schedule may vary. Over-time is required as needed per production needs.
