Electrical Project Manager

Strong knowledge of base building data center construction-, electrical, controls, and Commissioning. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex challenges in a fast-paced construction environment. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of data center design, construction, redundancy schemes, NEC code, power distribution and Mission Critical electrical gear. Project Management: Proven expertise in managing large-scale data center construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery. Skilled in scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and contract administration. Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead under pressure, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of assistant project managers, project engineers, and construction professionals. Budget Management: Proficiency in creating, managing, and optimizing project budgets to ensure cost-effective use of resources. Risk Management: Ability to identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and costs. Schedule Management: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinating with project team to ensure timely delivery of milestones. Vendor Management: Extensive experience in selecting, negotiating, and managing contracts with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and clear project updates. Proficient in using a computer and project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, Accubid / Change Order, Viewpoint (or Equal), and Scheduling Software) Regular site walks to ensure schedule, coordination, and quality will be required throughout the life of the project on a regular basis. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on data centers either for an electrical contractor, general contractor, or data center operator. Role is a full-time onsite position in Utah must live in the area or willing to relocate Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects.
