Production Associate

Starting Pay: $20-$25/hr Location: Ghent, KY 41045 We are seeking Team Members who possess the ability to function in general labor operations and operate equipment such as skid steers, forklifts, roll‑off trucks, banding machines, excavators, and off‑road articulated trucks. Additionally, candidates may operate an oxygen/magnesium cutting torch to cut large pieces of scrap steel material. What is expected of you to bring to the job: Commitment to Safety. Dependability, attentiveness, integrity, honesty, respect, positive attitude, self‑motivated, flexibility and adaptability with assignments, team worker and willingness to take direction and learn new skills as the employer requests. Pass pre‑employment drug screening. Wear leather, steel‑toe or metatarsal guard boots to enter the site. Complete NAS safety training for onsite access, allowing you to receive an NAS access badge (driver's license required). Understanding and acceptance of a rotational schedule that includes Saturdays and Sundays, and willingness to work overtime with short notice. Be on your feet for 8+ hours per day and work in all types of weather conditions. Ability to lift, push, pull and maintain control of 85 pounds consistently throughout the shift. Experience is preferred but not required. Ability to operate equipment such as skid steers, forklifts, roll‑off trucks, banding machines, excavators, and off‑road articulated trucks. Specific to lancing operations: Ability to operate an oxygen/magnesium cutting torch and cut large pieces of scrap steel material. Specific to lancing operations: Maintain a clean‑shaven face for filter mask seal; be fit‑tested for respirator and pass breathing test; undergo regular chromium level testing (blood test) for pre‑qualification.
