Medium Enterprise Regional Sales Director - FSI

Overview Workday is a global leader in cloud‑based enterprise software. We are seeking a Regional Sales Director for Financial Services to lead a team of Senior Account Executives, drive new business, and manage complex sales cycles. Responsibilities Lead and coach a field sales team focused on new business acquisition. Coordinate internal teams including pre‑sales, value management, bid management, inside sales, marketing, and sales support to execute complex sales cycles. Position Workday as the preferred cloud partner over legacy ERP solutions. Maintain accurate forecasting data and business modeling for senior leadership. Develop and implement effective selling strategies for the Financial Services market. Represent Workday at partner and alliance meetings to strengthen relationships. Qualifications 12+ years of field sales experience at a SaaS company with a focus on new business acquisition. 2+ years of sales management experience leading a senior‑level sales team. Proven track record of successful revenue and quota attainment in complex sales environments. Experience selling cloud/SaaS/ERP solutions to Financial Services accounts. Strong leadership, coaching, and mentorship skills. Ability to cultivate and manage partner and alliance relationships. Deep understanding of the competitive landscape and the ability to adapt positioning strategies. Self‑starter who thrives in a dynamic, high‑growth environment. Experience integrating multiple business units to maximize sales outcomes (preferred). Compensation & Benefits Base pay range: $174,000 – $261,000 USD (NewYorkCity).
