The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, an independent non-profit academic clinical practice group affiliated with The George Washington University, is seeking to fill full-time faculty positions in Glaucoma. The Department of Ophthalmology is part of a growing academic health center located in the heart of a world-class, vibrant metropolitan area, with its cultural, family, and educational opportunities. Appointment rank (Instructor/Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Full Professor) and salary will be commensurate with experience. Expected to start as early as summer 2026.

Responsibilities include delivering excellent patient care, teaching residents and medical students, and conducting high-quality research.

Applicants must be board-certified or board-eligible in Ophthalmology and fellowship-trained in glaucoma. Applicants must also be eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia by the time of appointment.

Advertised salary: $300,000 to $400,000. Other benefits will include a competitive, comprehensive package with Malpractice/Tail Coverage, 401 (k) matching, Medical, Dental, & Vision, and Disability & Life Insurance.
