Position: Temporary Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Hours: Approximately 13 hours per week

Employment Type: Temporary

North Star Behavioral Consultants is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct ABA therapy services during a temporary maternity leave coverage.

Position Details

• Pay: $30.00/hour
• Schedule: Approximately 13 hours per week (specific schedule to be determined with the family)
• Tentative Start Date: October 15
• Tentative End Date: January 3
• Opportunity for continued employment may be available based on staffing needs and performance.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans developed by the supervising BCBA.
• Provide one-on-one behavioral intervention in the client’s home, school, or community setting.
• Collect accurate session data and complete clinical documentation promptly.
• Communicate professionally with caregivers and the supervising BCBA.
• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to BACB Ethics Code and company policies.
• Participate in supervision meetings and ongoing training as required.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass required background checks.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder or developmental disabilities is preferred.
