CT Technologist

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Assignment Duration: This is a 90-day contract position.

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, with a mix of two 12-hour shifts and two 8-hour shifts per week. Coverage is required every other weekend or every third weekend based on needs.

Job Description: The CT Technologist performs imaging procedures at a technical level that does not require constant supervision. This role involves competent execution of various technical procedures that necessitate independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of imaging procedures independently.
• Utilize technical skills to apply ionizing radiation for diagnostic imaging.
• Ensure quality and safety standards are met during imaging procedures.
• Work collaboratively within a healthcare team to support patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• ARRT Certificate or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
• Clearances: ACT 33 and ACT 73.
• GE Scanner experience is required.
