Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating all assigned patients, developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans according to the patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. The role includes delegating and directing therapy services, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs, and educating patients, families, students, and coworkers. Upholding professional standards and compliance with organizational policies is essential.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document care and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with relevant guidelines.
• Participate in student programs by providing supervision and completing evaluations.
• Create and pursue an individualized professional development plan.
• Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Minimum 6 months - 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active and applicable state licensure for physical therapy.
