Event Server

Principal responsibility is to provide friendly, attentive, and timely service to create exceptional experiences for all guests for contracted events at The Madison Event Center and Hotel Covington. Duties Remain guest focused while performing all assigned duties before, during and after an event Assume 100% responsibility for the quality of each guest’s experience Welcome and greet guests upon entering The Madison Event Center/Hotel Covington Provide information about our food, beverages and other functions and services Perform side work during each shift as assigned by Banquet Captain Maintain clean and fully stocked prep area, restrooms and ballroom Ready and willing to assist other team members with event duties Handle tables, chairs, linens, tableware and décor carefully to prevent breakage and loss Always follow safe food handling guidelines Clean and reset ballroom at the end of every event Attend all scheduled employee meetings and provide suggestions for improvement Other duties as assigned Qualifications Positive, upbeat attitude, and works well with all team members Must be able to work weekends as late as 3:00 AM Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Punctual Energetic and motivated personality Excellent oral communication and listening skills Ability to follow directions Be willing to work until the job is complete and perform other duties assigned Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours) Black pants (You provide) and long sleeve black shirt (We Provide) Black non-slip shoes with black socks (You Provide) Part-time hours will vary depending on events scheduled Eligible for annual review and merit Please submit resumes or questions to: View email address on click.appcast.io #J-18808-Ljbffr Hotel Covington
