Job Description
RN - Hematology/Oncology

Schedule

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. No weekends, no holidays, and no on-call responsibilities.

Assignment Details

Infusion assignment includes a mixture of hematology/oncology and non-oncology referral infusions.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of recent infusion experience required; outpatient clinic experience highly desired.
• ONS chemotherapy/immunotherapy certification.
• Current BLS certification from the AHA.
• Experience with Epic EMR and Alaris infusion pumps.
• Strong IV/vascular access and port access skills.
• Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and the oncology care team.
• Current, unencumbered RN licensure in the state.

Responsibilities

• Administer infusions and monitor patients during treatment.
• Provide chemotherapy teaching at the chairside.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update EMR systems.
• Work independently and manage a full patient assignment with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with the oncology care team to ensure quality patient care.
