The salary range for this position is $67,454 - $500,001.20 (Annually)

Placement within the salary range is dependent on several factors such as relevant work experience and internal equity.

Description

Responsibilities:

Provide the full breadth of cardiac surgery. Participate in a comprehensive and wide variety of cardiac surgeries, including transcatheter valve procedures, and outpatient clinic. Share service calls, rounding and caring for pre-op and post-op patients in concert with the clinical team. Respond to local consultation requests and referrals. Play a vital role in the growth and development of cardiac programming in the BCVI West Region.

Qualifications

Requirements:

This positions requires a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), or a related field, or foreign equivalent (ECFMG Certification). It also requires a completed an ACGME-accredited cardiothoracic surgery fellowship program or eligible for board certification. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, and experience.
