Job TitleResponsibilitiesProvide direct resident care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and oral care.Assist residents with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and repositioning to promote safety and comfort.Support feeding, hydration, and nutrition, ensuring residents receive correct diets and assistance when needed.Measure and record vital signs, weights, and intake/output, reporting changes in condition to nursing staff.Assist with pressure injury prevention and skin care through regular repositioning and monitoring.Maintain clean, safe resident environments in accordance with infection control standards.Document resident care and observations accurately according to facility procedures.Promote resident dignity, rights, and confidentiality while interacting respectfully with residents, families, and staff.Participate in resident activities and engagement, including dementia care support on specialized units when assigned.QualificationsCurrent Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification and registration in the State of Connecticut required.Ability to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine nursing care under supervision.Demonstrated compassion, patience, and professionalism when working with elderly residents.Long-term care or geriatric care experience preferred.Ability to perform physical duties including lifting, transferring, and assisting residents with mobility.Strong communication, teamwork, and reliability.Licenses & Certifications RequiredCertified Nurses AideEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
