Description Native Oaks Golf Club , located in Valley Center, CA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Server ! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Pay: $16.90 – $17.90 per hour General Purpose: Serves guests food and beverage items in a prompt, professional and courteous manner. Creates memorable dining experiences through personalized and genuine interactions. Provide immediate attention to all guests upon seating Describe specials of the day to guests; answer questions regarding any menu item and offer suggestions when appropriate Take food and beverage orders from guests and deliver food promptly after preparation Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction and replenish items as needed Participate in pre‑shift meetings and taste tests Maintain an organized workstation and side work duties Accountable for checks and cash transactions; utilize Point of Sale system Follow established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders Follow established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery and general service techniques Practice tray service for all food and beverage service Incorporate safe work practices in job performance Regular and reliable attendance Perform other duties as required High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and minimum of one year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages 1+ years of server experience 1+ years of experience with a restaurant POS software platform Open availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays and at times extended hours Physical Demands: Frequently stands and walks; uses hands; reaches with arms and hands; stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches; talks or hears. Occasionally sits; climbs or balances. Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds. Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate. Certificates/Licenses: Food Safety and Sanitation Training and Alcohol Awareness Training.
