Job Title: LPN/LVN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: LVN Licensure Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Telemetry capable Safe overall nursing care Description: Unit Information: Number of Beds: 44 Number of Staff: 14 each shift Type of Staff: Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 4 LVNs, 4 PCTs, 1 unit clerk Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 4 LVNs, 4 PCTs, 1 unit clerk Patient Ratios: 1:5-6 Type of Equipment: Telemetry, vital signs monitors, glucometers, scales, etc. EMR: Meditech Typical Hiring Profile: Candidates must demonstrate safe overall nursing care. Telemetry capability is required. Preferred experience includes inpatient hospital nursing. The best personality fit is someone who is open and willing to support a positive teamwork environment. Floating Areas: Med Surg and other related units. Dress Code: Scrubs in navy blue. Work Schedule: Every other weekend. No on-call requirements.
