AbouttheRole:
ThisrolewillberesponsiblefortheleadershipandoversiteofaprogramsModelBasedSystemEngineer(MBSE)developmentactivitiesandmanagement.

ResponsibilitiestoAnticipate/Expect:
Thisrolewillhaveactivitieswithwillincludebutnotlimitedto:

ProvidestechnicaldirectiontoMBSESystemsandSoftwareEngineersfortheexecutionofengineeringprojectswithinaSysMLmodelusingCameoEnterpriseArchitecturetool.
Coordinatewithprogramofficepersonnelinthedevelopmentofproposals,scopesofwork,programplans,statementsofwork,workbreakdownstructureswithrespecttotheroleofMBSEontheprogramtohelpdefinetheprogram.
Define"how"EngineeringwillexecuteallaspectsoftheSystemEngineeringusingMBSEtoincludedevelopmentandreviewofrequirements,requirementsflowdown,systemarchitecture,opportunityandriskmanagement,tradestudies,technicalperformancemeasures,testing,interfacecontrol,costcontrol,weightmanagement,technicalprogramreviewpreparation,systemintegration,verification,andvalidation.
PrepareappropriateplanstocapturetheseactivitieswhichincludesownershipandresponsibilityofMBSEstagedelements
SupporttheSEM,SEITLead,andChiefEngineerintheirroletoDefineandReviewtheTechnicalProductsolutionthatresidesintheMBSE
SupportandfacilitatebuildingaGDLSMBSEcapabilitytobeusedacrossprograms.StructuringandStagingtheMBSEmodeltoallowreuseofmodelelementsonfutureprograms,IRADs,orDEinitiatives.
Define,DevelopandManagetheMBSEelementsofaprogramintoadefinedSysMLconfiguration.
AreasincludestagingRequirements,Behavior,Structure,InterfacesandParametricelementsinanMBSEtoolforaprogram.
GuidetheprogramteamusingtheMBSEmodelinthedevelopmentofrequirementdecompositionforFunctionalandNon-functionalrequirementsfromtheSystemSpecificationtotheallocatedbaselineofHWCIandSWCSCIrequirements.
GuidetheprogramintheuseofMBSEstructuresforfunctionaldecompositionfromSystemFunctionstocomponentfunctions.EstablishthestructureandstaginginthemodelforbuildingandlinkingSysMLartifactsinthegenerationofActivityDiagrams,StateMachines,SequenceDiagrams,BlockDefinitionDiagrams(BDDs),InternalBlockDiagrams(IBDs)andtheirassociatedderivedrequirements.
GuidetheprogramteaminthedevelopmentofMBSEinterfacesandthegenerationofproperDataArchitectureModelLibraries(DAML)andDomainSpecificDataModels(DSDM)accordingtotheGroundCombatSystem(GCS)CommonInfrastructureArchitecture(GCIA)modelsanddocumentation.
BuildandmaintainMBSE-basedmetricsfortheprogramsTPMs,Trades,Risks,andDesignDecisionMemorandums(DDMs).
ProvideprogrammetricsonthematurationoftheprogramMBSEenvironmentincompliancetothecontract,program'srequirementsandGCIAimplementation.
DefineandStagetheMBSEforconsumptionofprogramCDRLsintotheSysMLmodelasrequiredbythecontractwiththegoalofdigitizingtheengineeringenvironment.
SupporttheDigitalEngineering(DE)initiativeofdigitallyconnectingtoolssuchasTeamcenter,Cameo,MADe,CapitalHarness,SLICWave,etc.forthepurposeofprovidingaseamlessintegratedenvironmentthatsupportsasingleSourceofTruthinitiativeforallengineeringproducts.
DevelopStyleGuidesforeachareaoftheMBSE.
Performsotherdutiesasassigned.

MinimumQualifications/Whatyoumusthave:

Bachelor'sDegreeinanEngineeringDiscipline.Similartechnicaldegreesmaybeconsideredifexperiencealignswiththisjobfunction.
MBSEexperiencerequired.
Minimumof7yearsofrelatedengineeringexperience.
StrongVehicleSystemengineeringexperiencerequired.
ProficientinMicrosoftOfficeSuite.
ExperiencewithCameodevelopmenttool
