Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Finance Manager. This role will require the ability to manage both financial records, as well as perform some human resource functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, and managing the monthly close process. Responsibilities: Responsible for maintaining the general ledger and ensuring accurate and complete financial data. Track and reconcile daily revenue across PodPlay, Shopify, Tripleseat, and other operational systems Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial adjustments. Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Process and reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions. Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely payment of invoices. Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets. Monitor departmental spending and assist leadership with budget tracking and expense management Manage the payroll process in collaboration with an external payroll provider, ensuring the timely and accurate distribution of employee paychecks. Assist in the preparation of annual audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors. Preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Coordinate the timely execution and distribution of investment profits to shareholders. Assist with employee benefits administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks. Maintain and update employee records, ensuring compliance with legal and company policies. Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 3 years’ experience, ideally in a start-up and / or hospitality environment. Food & beverage accounting experience is a plus. Strong understanding of accounting principles. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Ramp, Toast) Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to manage confidential information and maintain discretion. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
