Summary
The Racing Industry Charitable Foundation, Inc. (ricfinc.net) is currently seeking a qualified General Dentist to deliver dental care within a comfortable clinical environment, primarily serving adult patients. The RICF is a non-profit organization addressing the wellness needs of a specialized agricultural workforce.
The Dentist shall be responsible for providing corrective and preventive dental services, as well as basic oral health care.Responsibilities:
- Provide examinations to determine overall dental health and evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection
- Diagnose and treat dental problems, including extractions and restorations
- Perform dental care treatments including X-rays, simple cleanings, fillings, simple extractions, full and partial dentures, partial plates, crown and bridge work
- Consult with other dental specialists when necessary
- Provide education to patients on oral hygiene
- Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines
Qualifications
- DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from an ADA-accredited dental school is required
- Board Certified and/or Board Eligible in General Dentistry
- Current state license (Illinois)
- Previous experience in clinical or private practice
- Deep understanding of dental standards and dental medicine trends
- Excellent bedside manner
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Spanish-speaking is a plus but not necessary
Position Details

- Schedule: 12 hours per month.
