Your Role in Transforming Lives As a member of our team, you’ll provide center, home, and school‑based ABA therapy for children with Autism, applying principles of ABA to bring positive, lasting change. Every session is an opportunity to make a difference. Qualifications Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or completion of a 40‑hour certification. GED/High School Diploma. Reliable vehicle and Medicaid Provider ID. Experience with children. If not certified, we’ll guide you and provide the resources to get started. Compensation & Hours Starting Pay: $18/hour for non‑certified RBT & $20+/hour for certified RBT. Expected Hours: 35 per week. RBT Job Description A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a paraprofessional certified in behavior analysis. RBTs assist in delivering behavior analysis services and practice under the direction and close supervision of a qualified BCBA Supervisor. Responsibilities Assisting BCBAs with behavior reduction assessments and skill acquisition plans. Communicating behavioral intervention results to students’ parents and caregivers. Providing 1:1 ABA therapy in home, center, and community‑based environments. Implementing individualized treatment plans developed by BCBAs. Collecting data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan. Providing regular written and verbal progress updates on treatment goals. Supporting the BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans. Participating in team meetings and training workshops. Ensuring that the client is in a safe and positive environment at all times. Following the policies and procedures of Look Up Therapy, LLC. Nurturing students’ social skills. Job Requirements Receive ongoing supervision that meets RBT supervision, supervisor, and documentation requirements. Background check completed no more than 180 days prior to the start date. Adhere to the RBT Ethics Code and self‑reporting requirements. Complete an RBT renewal application every year, including an RBT Renewal Competency Assessment and fees, to maintain certification. High School Diploma or GED required; some college preferred. Effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to occasionally lift 10 to 50 pounds.
