Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Surgery - General Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in General Surgery, Gynecology, and Urology License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Experience in general surgery, urology, gynecology, and ENT. Must have EPIC experience. Description: We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse. The role involves providing care in the operating room setting for various surgical procedures. The average number of cases per day ranges from 20 to 40 for general surgery. Common procedures include laparoscopy, hysterectomy, and DaVinci robotic surgeries. You will work with surgical technologists as part of the surgical team. There is a charge nurse available to assist with cases on each shift. All team members will adhere to a drug-free workplace policy. Shifts are typically from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM. You may be required to take call shifts weeknights and weekends, with a response time of 30 minutes. Floating to other surgical teams may be necessary based on qualifications. Full orientation specific to the unit will be provided as needed. Scrubs will be provided by the facility.
