Job Description $28.50-$37.05/ hour based on experience KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: · Generate purchase orders as required by Bill of Materials, stock supply on hand and inventory count. · As material is received, update HFA to reflect receipt. · Process discrepant material reports as required and/or requested. · May research vendors and suppliers and their respective pricing to ensure Milgard is getting optimum value. · Prepares, reviews, and distributes daily reports. · Research all backorder issues and expedite product as necessary. · Create and execute MPS objectives; meet MPS commitments and work within the guidelines of MPS. · Reflect Milgard business values and the Milgard Philosophy in all business interactions. · Adhere to safety policies and procedures related to all facets of job. · Proper usage of personal protective equipment. LEVEL OF SUPERVISION: · None EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: · Minimum of 1 – 2 years experience in purchasing/procurement preferred EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATION/FORMAL TRAINING: · High School diploma · Some college preferred · Purchasing Certificate desired ESSENTIAL ABILITIES: · Read, write and understand the English language · Display a sense of urgency and self-motivation. · Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines · Computer literacy with the ability to learn new computer software programs · Excellent written and oral communication skills · Excellent customer service skills with an attention to detail and strong organizational skills · Ability to work in, and promote a team environment.
