Social Worker Position

Roxbury Treatment Center is currently recruiting a social worker to assist patients on our acute psychiatric units for adults and/or adolescents. The social worker provides clinical social work services in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Roxbury Treatment Center and the NASW. The hours are Monday - Friday day shift with evenings and/or weekends if necessary. The social worker is responsible for psychosocial assessments of the patient's mental health and drug and alcohol history; individual, group, and family therapy; active participation on the treatment team; lead role in the development of the master treatment plan. Developing realistic and measurable short- and long-term goals; and assumes responsibility for coordinating with other agencies involved with the patient the discharge and continuing care plans.

Roxbury Treatment Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., has been a beacon of hope and healing for 40 years, serving those struggling with behavioral health and substance use issues. Located in Shippensburg, PA, our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. Qualifications: Master's degree or above from an accredited college with a major in social work or other related field required, with a practicum in health or human service agency preferred.
