Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN Majestic Care of Livonia seeks Licensed Practical Nurses to join their team and provide skilled technical nursing services to residents within an assigned unit/wing, supporting medical care as directed by nursing management and supervising CNAs to ensure high‑quality care. Key Responsibilities Initiate and lead team conferences to develop individualized nursing care plans. Assess and document residents’ condition and nursing needs. Accurately and promptly implement physicians’ orders. Administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments for assigned residents while documenting as required by Majestic Care and regulatory rules. Participate in orientation and in‑service training for personnel. Assist physicians with special tests and procedures within the scope of the state‑specified Nursing Practice Act. Report and record pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents. Coordinate nursing care of residents when scheduled for therapy or procedures by other departments. Assist with or institute emergency measures for sudden adverse developments in residents. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Licensed as an LPN in the state of employment; license must be active, valid, and in good standing. Valid CPR teaching certificate preferred but not required.
