Medical Phone Operator

ProHealth Partners is an established multi-specialty physician group and has been providing care to patients over the last 30 years. Our network includes over 250+ physicians in over 100+ clinics throughout the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas. We are seeking a Medical Phone Operator to support our busy clinical office in Lakewood, CA . Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:30pm Pay: $23-25/hr Responsibilities: Answering multiple phones lines and responding to patient inquiries Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments and follow-up visit Greet and check in patients Verify insurance coverage and demographic information Collect patient payments and communicate fees due Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR system Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments and follow-up visits Route messages to appropriate staff members Qualifications and Skills: At least 1 year of managing phone lines in a clinical setting Bilingual, required Knowledge of medical terminology Knowledge of medical insurance Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative clinical environment Ability to work effectively with a diverse patient population ProHealth Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer 9.5 DH #J-18808-Ljbffr
