With a manageable caseload of approximately 25 students and a stable, full-week schedule, you will have the resources and support to deliver top-notch care and education from the start of your assignment through the end of the school year.

Qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license valid in Maine
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience providing SLP services in a school setting, especially at the preschool level, is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to collaborate with parents, educators, and support staff
• Skilled at implementing individualized education programs and adapting therapeutic techniques for diverse learning needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to preschool-aged students, fostering their growth in articulation, language, voice, and fluency
• Evaluate and monitor student progress, conducting assessments and developing effective treatment plans
• Work as a valued partner with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic student development
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and timely progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
