As a Security Officer Patrol Partner in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a prestigious financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access control activities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business location, entry points, lobby areas, office spaces, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site protocols, assisting with credential checks, escort procedures, and/or related entry control responsibilities as assigned.
• Support day-to-day operations by communicating clearly with staff and/or guests, following post orders, and helping to address security-related issues while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
