Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting schools as a School Psychologist near Florissant, MO for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role will provide assessment, evaluation, and reporting services to a caseload of approximately 30-40 students, across up to two school sites (to be determined) within either the Hazelwood or Bayless Districts. You will work closely with students ranging from elementary to high school ages, with assignments tailored according to district needs and your expertise.

The district values a manageable workload and offers genuine support to contractors, striving to maintain average caseloads so you can focus on delivering quality services without being overextended. The main focus will be on Child Find responsibilities, encompassing assessments, evaluations, and comprehensive reporting.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Missouri Department of Education School Psychologist certification.
• Experience conducting student assessments, evaluations, and writing reports in a school setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families.
• Organized, adaptable, and able to manage caseloads across different age groups (elementary, high school, or potentially K-12).
• Willingness to complete drug screening and undergo fingerprinting as part of the credentialing process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations in accordance with federal and state guidelines.
• Prepare detailed, actionable reports to support Child Find initiatives.
• Collaborate with educators and families to share findings and contribute to educational planning for each student assigned.
• Maintain thorough documentation and meet all deadlines consistently.
