PET/CT Technologist

Responsibilities When you join us as a PET/CT Technologist , you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders—patients, providers, payors, and regulators—to achieve the best clinical outcomes. You Will Perform high quality nuclear medicine and/or positron emission tomography/computed tomography images on patients while providing excellent care. Assure proper dose of radionuclides are ordered for each patient. Explain test procedures and safety precautions to patients, guiding them through a sometimes-difficult process by gently talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process. Monitor patients’ well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action. Demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information. Safeguard any on site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures and any legal requirements. Demonstrate respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals. Respond to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers. Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions. Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting. Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships. If You Are Passionate about patient care and exercise sound judgement and an ability to remain professional in all situations. Demonstrate effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills and respect with patients, guests & colleagues. Have a structured work‑approach, understand complex problems and prioritize work in a fast‑paced environment. To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have Current ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification and ARRT(CT) with AZ State Nuclear Medicine License. High school diploma or GED. BLS certification.
